At Madison Smile Solutions our goal is to provide the best, individualized patient care possible, while building life-long relationships with you based on trust, communication and value. With this goal in mind, we are excited to announce that as of December we moved to our new location 5602 Odana Road! It is only 1 block from our old office (see map below).

What are some updates you can expect?

• Windows! We are excited to be moving up in the world! Our team is excited about not being in a basement anymore. You will love the big, bright windows that allow in natural light that is best for selecting shades for cosmetic dentistry.
• Handicap Accessibility and Bathrooms! We now will have an up-to-code building that allows everyone access to the quality care we provide. This is helpful during sedation dentistry appointments too so we can make sure everyone is comfortable. We will also have two, easy to locate, bathrooms to better serve you.
• Privacy! Two consultation rooms allow you to ask our team to answer any questions you may have about your choices on treatment, financials, and options.
• Ergonomics! New dental chairs and operatory set up allow for more comfortable working environment and shorter, streamlined appointments for you.
• Efficiency! New re-stocking and ordering systems that help keep overhead down so we can continue to provide fair prices to you!
• Diagnostics! 3D X-ray machine with orthodontic technology! This new technology allows Dr. Kaveh and team the ability to view, plan and prepare treatment plans more effectively for any treatment you may need but especially for patients choosing implants or adult braces.
• Technology! Same day crowns! If you are in need of a crown, now a digital impression will be taken so you also won’t have to endure gooey impressions. Many patients will not have to wear a temporary crown at all! This gives new meaning to "one stop shop as most will only come for one appointment and leave with the permanent crown that same day! This means increased comfort and convenience for you, all while saving you time.
• Growth! The new office is larger so we will have more room to treat your friends, family and co-workers in this growing practice. The best compliment we can receive is your referrals. We truly appreciate all of you who have recommended us.

New Year/New beginnings

Some people get nervous with change and we know some of you have been going to the Medical Circle office for 30+ years. We want you to know that you will still see the same smiling faces at our new office and your comfort and ease during the transition is our priority.

Note from Dr. Kaveh: As the holiday season approaches, I like to reflect on our past and the future of our practice. I am thankful for the opportunity given to me by Dr. Jim Lampman, whose practice I bought about 3 years ago. I am thankful for the hard work of my amazing team who continues to help me be the kind of dentist I want to be. I am thankful for all the people that helped plan and build our new home. I am thankful for my family and friends for the consistent support. I am thankful for my loving wife, Trish, who has given me my beautiful little girl and for holding my hand through this process. I am most thankful for you, my patients, who have given me the opportunity to be your dentist. I am excited to show you the updates and changes we’ve made with you in mind. Exciting News: Madison Smile Solutions Breaks Ground

Tentative Opening Date: January 2012

At Madison Smile Solutions our goal is to provide the best possible patient care while building lifelong relationships with our patients based on trust, communication, and value. While focusing on dental and overall wellness, we strive to create positive experiences through genuine care, comfort and excellent customer service. Our team uses knowledge, awareness, education and current technology to provide detailed options for the highest standard of dentistry in a friendly environment. For us to continue to achieve this goal, we’ve been exploring our options and we are beyond pleased to announce that our practice broke ground this morning on a new building for our office. The new location will be on Odana Road only about a block away from our current office.

The building is especially designed with you, the patient, in mind. We love our current office but it has some limitations. Some of you have had concerns, for instance, there is no wheelchair ramp, the bathrooms are not easily accessible, and it is difficult to incorporate modern technology due to electrical and plumbing limitations. Our new office will overcome all of these limitations so not only will you continue to receive the highest quality care, but we will have more room to treat our patients, along with their family and friends. We will be utilizing the best technology and ergonomics for your comfort and safety in an office that supports our mission. In other words, you will have more comfortable, shorter appointments!

Our new office will offer many new features that will benefit you. It will offer privacy and relaxation! Whether it is for a question about your options, or you want to be sedated for your dental work, we will have a solution for you. We will have specific operatories for sedating people who seek sedation dentistry. Private consultation rooms will give us a chance to talk about treatment and procedures out of earshot of others. Low stress and optimal efficiency for work flow will create a cheerful, well-organized environment. The office will have a calmness to it that blends in with the high-tech operatories. New and improved sterilization will be another feature you will benefit from too. Our new office will feature numerous green products and efficiencies to cut down on waste and to utilize as many renewable resources as possible.

Adding technology is an advantage to moving this practice and does not mean we are raising our prices. We will continue to benchmark other offices in our area and keep rates competitive and fair. Likewise, collecting co-pays and payments upfront lets us pay our bills on time, keeping fees low for everyone. Madison Smile Solutions is planning on improving care without a significant change in prices.

GREEN Building Features of New Office

Building Orientation and size:
The building was oriented on an east/west axis, this allows for controlled daylighting on the longer north/south axis. East and West sides of the building where designed with as little glass as possible to minimize direct sun glare and heat gain in the mornings and afternoons.

South glazing was designed with overhangs and higher glass to allow sun to be blocked in the summer and allow sun to penetrate into the building in the winter.

Operatories where located along north facing windows to allow for consistent good quality light.

The square footage of the building was reduced to be as small as possible while still meeting the needs of the use. This significantly reduced the resources used to build the building and reduces the energy used for the lifetime of the building.

Building Location:
The building was located on a bus route and is easily accessible for bikes and pedestrians.

The building and entrance is a located on the site close to the street with the parking behind the building, helping to promote and urban feel and allow easy access for pedestrians.

Site and Exterior:
Parking lot and roof storm water is directed to a dry pond and allowed to infiltrate and solids allowed to be naturally filtered and separated.

Amounts of pavement and hard impervious surfaces where reduced to a minimum while still meeting the building needs.

Landscape plantings where chosen that are native to the area and durable to our climate. Also planting where intermixed to help alleviate diseases wiping out large quantities of plants.

Site lighting uses full cut-off fixtures which reduces light pollution.

Exterior building materials where chosen for their durability and low amount of ongoing maintenance.

Energy:
High efficiency furnaces and air conditioning equipment will be used.

Programmable thermostats will be used.

Energy recovery is being used on exhausted air.

High efficiency lighting will be used with occupancy sensors where appropriate.

Water efficient fixtures will be used with sensor operated faucets where appropriate.

Insulation values are much above the code required amounts.

Interior:
Carpet is low VOC and is CRI Green Label certified

Interior paint is low VOC

Building entrances have permanent walk-off carpets to help keep dirt and particulates from entering the building
The majority of occupied spaces have natural daylight and views to the exterior

Many of the building materials have post-consumer and post-industrial recycled content.

Provisions for future expansion have been incorporated into the main level and basement thus reducing the need for removal and/or replacement of walls, floors, doors, fixtures, HVAC equipment, etc. for future facility needs.
